AC/DC - Badlands

「Flick of the Switch」(83) から " Badlands " を私訳。

「Powerage」(78) と同じく縦横無尽なギターが満喫できる1枚で、今作はヤング兄弟のセルフ・プロデュース。彼等の歌詞は (いろんな意味で) 女性上位のものが多いけど、今回私訳した " Badlands " は (いろんな意味で) 男性上位で " T.N.T. " に登場した人物とよく似たヤツが出てくる。また彼等には珍しい歌詞の締め方をしているのも、おもしろい。

そういったいつもと違う要素はスタジオ・ライヴをそのまま録音したような今作のサウンドにも言え、まるで「たまにはオレ達だけで好きにやらせてくれ」とでも言ってるかのような奔放な仕上がりに反映されている。ラフでラウドなスタジオ盤なら「Powerage」(78) と「Flick of the Switch」(83) はマスト d^^b
