Whitesnake - Too Many Tears

「Restless Heart」(97) から " Too Many Tears " を私訳。前作「Slip of the Tongue」(89) から8年振りのホワイトスネイクのアルバムであり、ギタリストのエイドリアン・ヴァンデンバーグが全ての楽曲に参加したアルバム。

ここに収録されているブルース・フィーリングを纏った楽曲はバンドとしてのアルバムというよりデイヴィッド・カヴァデールのソロ・アルバムといった色合いが強く、全体的に落ち着いた仕上がり。中でも " Too Many Tears " はこのアルバム以外にも「Starkers in Tokyo」(97)、彼のソロ・アルバム「Into the Light」(00)で、違ったアレンジのものが収録されています。
