「Atlantic Crossing」(75) から " It's Not The Spotlight " を私訳。バリー・ゴールドバーグとジェリー・ゴフィンによって書かれ、歌われてもいた曲ですが、このアルバムに参加したブッカー・T&ザ・MG'sの演奏と相まってロッド・スチュワートの曲という印象が強いですね。また日本人では浅川まきがアルバム「灯ともし頃 MAKI VII」(76) にこの曲を収録していますが、歌詞の解釈やアレンジ共に独自の世界観に仕上げられていて、もうカバーの領域を超えています。
